Skin packaging is also known as carded packaging. Carded packaging refers to a family of applications including skin, blister(1) and trap packs(2) to name a few. While most know these packaging types from the retail shelf that are also widely used in industrial applications for aftermarket parts (3) and securing shipments inside a box (4).
