About the Job

Responsibilities

Operate delivery vehicles, including vans and trucks, to transport goods to designated locations.
Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts.
Follow assigned routes for efficient delivery while adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations.
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safety and compliance.
Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of mileage, fuel usage, and delivery confirmations.
Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients during deliveries.
Assist in warehouse operations as needed, including inventory management and organization of goods.
Perform heavy lifting as required when loading or unloading cargo.

Requirements

Previous experience as a courier or truck driver is preferred.
Familiarity with warehouse operations and equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts is a plus.
Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with clients.
Ability to perform heavy lifting and manage physical tasks associated with loading and unloading goods.
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record is required.
Must be able to work flexible hours, including potential overtime as needed.
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in route planning and delivery documentation.
